Frequently Asked Questions

  • I offer each potential client/couple a 10-minute phone consultation that is free of charge. That way you can see if we could be a good fit!

  • I try to make therapy as accessible as possible! With that in mind, a 45-50 minute session is $250, with a sliding scale available for those in need (which we can discuss during your free consultation).

  • If you currently live in the state of New York, I accept Cigna through Alma Health. Unfortunately, I’m unable to accept insurance for New Jersey residents.

  • Yes! I am a bisexual woman and can personally understand many of the issues that impact the queer community. My practice is a safe, affirming space for all identities and orientations.

  • Not at all. It’s not about skill—it’s about expression and unlocking new ways to heal. Art therapy is a tool that helps you express things that are difficult to say and break patterns that are holding you back.

  • I am licensed in New York and New Jersey and offer virtual therapy sessions to residents of both states. This means you can access therapy from the comfort of your home, whether you're in NYC, upstate, or anywhere in NJ. If you're unsure about eligibility, feel free to reach out!

  • Sessions are held over a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform, so you can get support from wherever you feel comfortable. All you need is a private space and a stable internet connection. Virtual therapy offers the same depth and effectiveness as in-person sessions, with the added flexibility to fit into your schedule. If you're new to online therapy, I’ll guide you through the process to make sure it feels as seamless and comfortable as possible.

  • Honestly, it depends on what you're looking for. Some people find that a few focused sessions help them work through specific concerns, while others prefer ongoing support over months or even years. Some build the tools they need quickly and then check in as needed. There’s no one right timeline—once we begin working together, we’ll tailor the approach to fit your needs and goals.

  • Nope! Sex therapy isn’t just about sex—it’s about healing, communication, and self-discovery. I work with individuals and couples on everything from trauma recovery to intimacy challenges and pleasure.

  • No. A common misconception about Sex Therapists is that we are hands-on. Sex(uality) is the subject of our conversations and nothing more than that.
